360 motor mounts

Ok guys I'm having some issues finding spool mounts to fit my 73 360. I am attaching photos of the mounts that I just got that fit the same as 2 others I've gotten. There's about a .500 gap on one side and .375 on the other. I currently am trying to put this in a 73 dart sport that has spool mounts. Any help would be appreciated.

If the set of mounts are all the same size there for a 318 engine, not 340 or 360. The drivers side mount is shorter between the ears on the block. And the difference is about 1/2" which is what are you are finding. The 340,360mounts haven't been available for the past several years, unless somebody is reproducing them. Schumacher was at one time making them and maybe the company that is making some of his mounts has started making the 340, 360 mounts. There around and guys are selling them so just a matter of time to them for sale. Some guys put a spacer to make up the difference in the mount, but myself I want the right mount. The 340 & 360 are the same.

Hopefully he will solve your problem. Never knew why Chrysler did that on the small block and now it's almost impossible to get new ones. 318 mounts are available new just not the ones you need.
 
Thank you for the knowledge. I have made spacers for both sides, for the time being till I can get the correct mounts.

I fully understand and appreciate where you stand on this and I feel the same way about doing things the right way. I also want to keep my project moving forward while I keep aquaring parts to do it correctly in the end.
 
amen tonysrt. i do not blame him for wanting to do it his way. if i had another set, he would own them. but the only other set i have are the aap ones that he already has.
