Yes, it slides on the little round nib on the top. Likely the wire that is right beside it.

Yup, the gray wire slips on to the terminal on top of the sending unit..

It was born a twister, 6 cylinder, automatic with factory crank sun roof, I put 360 and 4 speed, it’s a fun driver long as no rain in forecast
