Well it has been one hell of a year since my license was revoked March 17th 2010. Reflecting on my actions, I was a dumbass... Today I got my license back, paid out the *** for insurance, it feels good to be back behind the drivers seat!! Live and learn I guess.

:drinkers: + :burnout: = :wack:

Welcome back to the driver' seat!!

Thank you for putting your story out there, it's an important reminder, might even save a life.

well, what type of person are you?
1. the one that get caught driving drunk, gets in trouble, and then cannot drive for a year. learns from the mistakes, and uses that lesson as a tool in your own life.
2. the one that gets caught driving drunk, loses licience for a year. gets it back, and on the same night of getting it, goes out to celebrates with some alcohol, and winds up right back in that drivers seat.
i am glad you got your d.l back, and thank you for putting your story out there, as many will see, and even if it stops one young gun from even thinking about it, you are saving lives!.
oh, btw, ONLY YOU KNOW WHAT PERSON YOU ARE!.LOL

Dude. Behind the driver's seat? No wonder you got in trouble. Maybe you should take a class. Heh.

Hopefully you have learned. Keep it up.

Welcome back to the drivers seat. With the new laws they are trying to pass here in NC,you might not be so lucky next time.

There's also a National Driver Registry now. It's a nation wide database that keeps track of criminal charges. I have a friend right now who went to renew his license last year and found out his license in another had been revoked.......25 years ago for DUI, and he didn't know it. Because there was no National Driver Registry at that time, when he moved to Georgia 25 years ago, he simply applied for a Georgia license and got one. Now because of the new law that has been revoked and he cannot even get a hearing about until one year from this past December.
