I quit looking for this quite a while ago, after many months of searching. Then tonight I found one on Ebay that sold three months ago. Not happy with myself to say the least, so here we go again---
I am looking for an oil dipstick for an A-body 383 engine. Part number is 2899411, specific to 67-69 Darts and Barracudas. I do need the tube, just the dipstick. The length from tip of dipstick to the insert stop lip on the handle is approx. 20". The full line is 2 1/8" up from tip, add line is 1.5" up from tip. Small twist at the tip. Oil level indications are marked with lines on the dipstick. Pictures provided for reference.
