FOR SALE: 398 ci small block Chrysler 702 horsepower at the flywheel. Build consists of a 1970 TA 340 block with billet Milodon 4 bolt conversion hard blocked, square decked .020, line bored both cam and mains and manga fluxed, GRP aluminum rods, Diamond pistons, NOS Mopar Direct Connection forged 3.79 stroke crank (box had Glidden address), 8 bolt hemi fly wheel pattern, 14.5:1 compression, Crane custom solid roller, Crower lifters, Milodon timing set, custom Moroso A-body external sump 10 quart pan, Moroso external oil pump and mandril set, ATI balancer. Heads: started as Hughes performance big mouth port performer rpms then ported in addition to refine and match the tunnel [email protected] lift flowed 382 int /248cfm @ .750 lift, Fererra valves 2.05/1.60. Rockers are 1.6 ratio offsets by Hughes. ARP hardware throughout (headstuds, mains, etc.) Mopar Performance Tach drive electric distributor. Wei-and ported tunnel ram. Carbs are custom Vintage Holley 650's. Vintage Eelco low profile velocity stacks. Headers are custom made slip fit by Tubular Automotive with W2 pattern adapters. Mopar performance water pump. Vintage Ansen finned valve covers modified for DLI (Dick Landy Industries) oil fill. CMS crank case evac kit included is vintage Eelco throttle linkage kit, twin Holley Blue regulators with fuel logs and lines. New Taylor thundervolt wires. Only bad is one crack on the lower most corner going to the dowel pin from the bell housing bolt. Engine is essentially as it appeared at PRI this past year, it was refreshed a year and a half ago and was orginally going to be run this year but instead building a gen 2 hemi so it is on the market. In a 2900 lbs car this has gone 9.70s @ 140s will disassemble for inspection with deposit (non-refundable) that will be applied to final purchase price. Asking as it sits $15k or best offer.
