4 BBL Swap She's Alive !!!!!!!

Got the car back together today,poured a little gas in the carb and fired it up.Set the timing and she sounds real good.Still have to find the 4bbl throttle brackek and kick down rod if anyone has one laying around.All in all sounds like she is gonna be a runner.

The more I look at it the plug wires are bugging me.Had them around for a different project,probably go black.Would love to have the 340 air cleaner but those are big bucks now.

Yea...wires do stick out a little bit. Black would be good, i have blue with black separators along the v/c's.

(just for a visual on that, my motor looks a lot more stock, like yours now)

Looks real good JD. :thumbup: Did the same swap to my car. I have one of those 340 air cleaners from 69-70, but I use my K&N lid now that I put the functional hood scoop on it. I use the other at car shows. I am false advertising with it, that one has a 340 4bbl pie pan on it. If sounds like one, why tell them its not.
