4 hood pins on a 72 swinger

so..

i bought me a fiberglass hood for the dart and needed some advice on installing it. i have decided to go with 4 hood pins, but have no idea on how to install the 2 pins that are by the windshield... Are there any special mounts I need to buy/fab/install to make it work? Also, does anyone have a brand they recommend? I know some people have had trouble with the plates rusting...

just make up some L mounts for them that attach to something like the inner fenders or the firewall. (I haven't looked at one so I am not sure which would be better though the firewall might prove to have better locating spots) The good repop kits have stainless plates and seem to hold up rather well.

lift off glass hood, 4 pin

front pins go in the old bolt holes for the front fenders (stock bumper location)

and the rears are kinda hard to explain... well in those little "L" shaped divits by the cowl is where we put them...

she goes home for the first time tomorrow....:salute: sad to see her go...
