I have a buddy looking to put a 440 4spd. in his 73 Dodge 1/2 ton step-side pickup. He has the 440 already rebuilt and mounts to install it but needs everything to install a 4 spd. I'm an automatic guy so I don't know what's what when it comes to 4 speeds except I know he needs a bellhousing, flywheel, linkage, trans, pedals, and shifter. Hoping somebody here can tell me what will fit without doing any cutting.

If it is internally ballanced, you can use a 318 10.5 inch flyweel.

as far as parts for the truck goes????

I bought all mine for my cart thrroughj Breweres performance...just google it.

Thanks Phil. I didn't think to ask him if it was internally or externally balanced. I'll have to ask him. We were hoping just by luck we'd run into a complete setup somebody had. I know that's a stretch because it's not a car but I figured we'd try.

I had a 11 inch external balanced set up that I bought for my car, but I couldn't use it. Its all hard to come by.

I sold a 11 inch bell, flywheel, preasure plate, and clutch for $300 I think might have been $400 though, I forget.

don't have any anymore.

Yeah I know what your saying about 4spd. stuff getting hard to come by anymore. You can find automatics by the truck load but 4 spd. stuff is pretty rare.
