Can anyone tell me what these #s mean date and model wise ?

1968 lynch road plant is the vin stamp. I think brewers has some good info on them casting numbers and the numbers stamped in the pad with the partial vin are 10,000 day calendar date codes.

I believe that the pp833 is obviously the trans and the 2218 (10,000 day calendar) represents August 25, 1967 for the 1968 model year vehicle.
0092 indicates 92 trans built that day.

Casting numbers on the tail shaft housing and input shaft bearing retainer will tell the rest of the story.

Dan are the parts to replace the missing detent ball and what ever else this needs available ?
