My memory is REAL rusty- On Mopars (68-74) did the reverse rod have a smaller diameter end than 1-2 and 3-4? Looking at pictures of shifters it sure looks that way.

I have a set of reproduction shifter rods and they are all the same size.. which is wrong I think.

As long as they serve their intended purpose, use em. My setup was missing the reverse rod, a buddy gave me one that hung down way low and had the smaller shaft as you mention, I just bushed it to bring it up to size and cut a section out and welded back.

1) I just paid top dollar for a reproduction that is wrong in at least two ways.

2) The reverse piece is too LARGE, I'd have to bore out the shifter.

I'd rather find out what is correct/wrong and get the right pieces, hence this post.

Thanks.

gdonovan your right the reverse rod is smaller. Contact Bewers performance and they will hook you up with the proper rods.

I have a set of Inland shifter rods, think they would work? They look pretty darn close.
