4 speed Question

I have a cast iorn 4 speed that came from a car my dad crashed some years back. the casting numers on the trans are C95664 Z and C 95639 U I have pictures but dont know how to post any info would be great I plan on selling and dont want to get cheated. Thanks

Hello, you have the body casting number which is a good start. Now you need the tail housing casting and the bearing retainer casting. They usually start with a C. Then on the right side there is a machined pad with many numbers stamped in it. Record and list all these numbers as it will help identify exactly what you have, and will be a start in determining its value. Condition plays in too, but that becomes a bit of a gamble for the buyer, even if you show the inside of the side cover.
