400 big block with b-body headers & 4 speed

I was wondering if anyone has done this swap with a 4 speed car. Will these headers fit without modification? I Have a set of pro-parts headers on my 440 now will these fit a 400 and 4 speed? Thanks for any info or pics.

I haven't personally done the swap, but from what I've gleaned off members here, the B body headers may fit without modification, but expect to ding/dent a tube or two. As for the 4 speed part...not sure. Have you looked at bigblockdart.com?

I just looked up the Pro Parts headers at Bob Mazzolini Racing--I didn't see any for B bodies, but their A body headers for BB are all over the place...actually kinda curious about this one myself...

Yeah I looked around but didnt find much on header fitment with a 4 speed.

With an automatic 727. I did it. It was tight. I have the Headman Elite's in. '71 w/a 400. I followed the link directions above.
I'm not to sure about the 4spd clearance issues though.

Well, worst case scenario, you have to go custom ;)
