gonna stroke a 400 question is turn down the crank or open up the block, and stroker kits. down to Mancini Racing, Muscle Motors or 440. source.right now leaning toward MM 470 kit
Just get the kit for the 400 block, no need to turn down the crank or open up the the block.
If building your own stroker cut the crank to fit the 400 mains to keep the extra strength in the block.
Yup. Look in the parts for sale - Mike at MRL has a 500" B wedge kit for sale. Personally I'm not into strokes longer than 3.915 because I like shorter pistons. But - it's a decent price and Mike's a good guy. Maybe he can convince you his way's better...lol.
