1972 Demon/ Duster drag car for sale. I bought a new chassis car so old reliable has got to go! 408 cast iron headed small block in a 2600lb all fiberglass body (bumpers, doors, front fenders, trunk and hood, lexan windows. Chassis has Afco coil overs on the rear with ladder bars. Stock frame rails with sub connectors and a good roll cage with halo bar. Engine has steel Eagle crank, h beam rods and Diamond pistons. 11:1 with factory heads. 830 HP Holley carb, .568 comp solid cam, comp roller rockers, victor jr. intake. Msd dist and box. Engine has around 20 race days on it and is still very strong as it should be. Last engine probably had 100 days before it was refreshed. Mopars run forever! Car runs 6.70s in the 1/8 in good air and 6.80s in the heat with low 1.40 60'. 4.88 8 3/4 axle with 35 spline Moser spool and axles. 29.5 11.0 Mickey slicks but can fit up to a 32 12 if you need less gear ratio. 904 foot brake transmission with reverse manual valve body. This car is turn key and can go racing today. I have raced it for 13 years and have had a blast with it, I just decided to go with a full chassis car. It was 10.50 NHRA certified when I bought it but the seat belts are out of date now. All graphix are stickers except the black painted on the hood.
