O.K. The motorhome 440 was a miss how about this?I found what I believe to be a 1962 Chrysler Imperial with a 413 4bbl automatic...Is this motor worth building, how about the transmission...What would be a fair price for the whole car it being in fair condition,,I just want it for the motor,,I'm new to the big blocks so any help is greatly apreciated... Thanks

Most of the parts are interchangeable with the other B/RB engines,so if the price is right then why not go for it. It`s basically a small bore 440, and parts are readily available. Pistons may be a problem, but you may be able to bore it and use a 426 piston. Keep us informed.

I dont know if it makes a differance or not but it is a 1964 model not a 1962...Thanks

If its 500$ for the whole car,run and get it.Do this, buy it,and remove what you need, motor, tranny and the 8.75 diffy. Now you strip the car and sell every thig on ebay or web sites and you pay zero for the motor/tranny/diff.I have done this for years and has paid for all my cars,Mrmopartech

that 64 imp may have disc brakes up front, if it does they are worth the price of the car...or damm close to it. big ol 4 piston kelsey hayes units.. and very hard to find

Thanks guys, good Lord willing I will go and get this thing in the morining..He also has a 1977 Chrysler Cordoba with a 400 4 bbl. Is this something anyone would be intersted in? I thought all Cordobas where small blocks but I was wrong..Shows you how much I know.
