A friend of mine built this years ago and he passed away. His best friend was in charge of his possessions and is selling it to help pay the hospital for bills incurred when Woody had a triple bypass.
It's a 42 Plymouth P14 coupe. Woody built it using a later model Cordoba torsion bar front suspension. The power plant is a stroked 225 with a 833 o/d transmission. I am not sure of the crank used but the cubes are over 300. It has a hydraulic clutch for easy shifting. (he had a artificial leg but still had to have a 3 petal car) It has an 8 3/4 rear with Super Stock springs with 4:10 gears. If I'm not mistaken, the rear tires are 14.32's all tucked up underneath. John, a mutual friend is handling the sale and has gone through the car because it has been setting for a while. The body is very straight and rust free from what I remember. B5 blue of course! Woody used many NOS parts for the build including body panels he could find. THe car is located near Waterloo, Iowa in the NE corner of the state. If you are interested send me a pm and I can give you John's phone number. $30,000. It would make someone a real nice old cruiser.

I got a box from John that I we thought were drag racing photos. Itt was full of information about the coupe build. Instructions and wiring diagrams, Lists of parts purchased and also all the parts he used from different cars for the build. There is also a 42 service manual, parts book, and sales information. That will go back with the car and will be included. Also some photos of the car before, during, and after construction.
