440 509 cam rocker adjusted

What should i adjust the valves on my 440 to. I run a mp509 cam it has the factory style adjustable rockers. Last night I finally drove it after six months of wrenching on it . The rockers started making a little noise. I have never have adjusted since the motor was put in the car.

turn the adjuster while spinning the pushrod until the rod starts to get tight then turn the adjuster 1/2 turn and lock it down.

A half turn is a little much for my taste. I like one quarter turn better. Just personal preference I reckon.
