Anyone running angled spark plugs? I know some factory heads had angled holes, but none of the aftermarket aluminum heads seem to have that option. Mine stock cast iron heads are straight plug and they work fine with the headers I've got, but just from looking at it I could get quite a bit more room with angled plugs. Wonder why none of the aftermarket heads seem to have the option.

There are several Aftermarket Heads with angled plugs. I had Trickflow 240s, they are angled, and i think the Speedmaster Heads also, but not sure

Hmm did they stop making them maybe? Was thinking of going with Trickflow either way, but all their heads on summit and on their website are straight plug. Maybe I'll shoot them an email and see what they say

Those heads do indeed have angled plugs, it's just not as noticeable of an angle as other models, for example SBM heads... Compare closely side-by-side with 440Source Stealth heads, there is a slight angle with the Trick Flows.

AFAIK, there are only three currently manufactured aftermarket heads for the BBM that have straight plugs.
440 Source, the Eddy E Street 84cc version, and the B1-BS.
The rest have angled plugs.

Interesting, are they just really low angle compared to stock heads? Maybe the pics online just dont do it justice. i remember the cast heads having a very pronounced angle... Guess I'll just buy the TF240s and see how they look.

Thanks guys!

Trick flow 240 chambers.
Spark plug holes are clearly angled.

I've never seen stock big block heads with angled plugs.

I’ve never seen one in person, but some of the industrial/MH 440-3 engines had angle plug heads.
But they’re def not HP pieces.
