440 source fluid damper

My damper makes a sound like something is spinning inside it for just a second after the engine is shutdown is this nomal?

Sounds like a ball bearing style damper, and common to them.
It uses the same concept as those balance balls they put in tires.

None of the 440 Source Dampers I have used have sounded like that. Call 440 Source and ask them, they are easy to deal with.

Mine makes no noise whatsoever, but mine is a Fluidampr.

Fluid type dampeners have nothing to make that noise naturally. Rattle-types do.
