I finally got a transmission for my 440 and got it to start and only runs if I give it gas. When I let off the gas it dies. Its been sitting around a month could it be a carb issue.
I agree that a carb/fuel issue or vacuum leak would be the first culprit? With that said, are there any unusual noises coming from the trans or bellhousing area? After all, that was the last mod done.
