4x4 Dart.

-
I'm speechless.

I've seen this before, done with many interesting, and in my opinion useless vehicles, like Cadillacs, Pintos, and Firechickens. But that's the first Dart.

I've seen some of the others done too. 68 and a 77 carmaro, 69 el camino, pinto, 78 torino, 74 Road Runner...now, my favorite, a 68 Dart. Maybe some one could do a Hemi Cuda convertible or an AC cobra.

back in the late 80s early 90s anything lifted was around here. my friends and I put together a scout up on 44s with a 440 awd togehter as well as a super bettle on to a scout frame that now sits on 50 inch tires. theres an elcamino runiing around now.
you dont see it as much now due to inspection changes.

Friend of mine did a lot of Scout conversions, T bucket, 83 Scamp, 81 O24, mid 80's minivan. Tried to get him to do his 84 Vette, but he wouldn't. The T bucket was mechanically pretty decent other than the chevy overdrive auto..350 4BBl headers, duals, Scout 4x4 drive. Light and quick.

I had a friend of mine in NJ back in the early 80's who took a 69 chevelle SS & put it on a lengthened blazer frame. That body was absolutely perfect, gloss black. He did it right, and it looked great.

I bet he wishes he had that stock SS right now! :crybaby:

wonder if he ran over any fords or chveys with it. or maybe he has some road rage problems, or just needed to go to the hills to get away from the cops

Maybe he's a Donk wannabe!

Wow..... that's my first one too !! CRAZY....

people with the money to do that should just hand it over to people like us who will do a car some justice and not make it parade around in public making a damn fool of itself ;-)

.................... :| Dinks, Donks, Zonks whatever, thoses have to be the most retarded f**king things I have ever seen in my life!!!!

I remember when I was a little kid I would always get pissed off when I saw some car usually an el camino on a 4X4 frame. There is a 57ish plymouth on a 4X4 frame that rolls around here and it pisses me off even now that someone would waist a car like that.

well i will most likely get alot of hate mail for this but,,,, i think u can do what ever u want to ur ride or whip or donk its urs, like my 73 dart i could care less if its all original or use the correct light bulb in the dash .but if that is how u want to do it then it is ur choice. if u want big rims put them on , or 14 inch factorys more power to u ...the car world is a crazy place so many styles so many poeple its geting hard to stand out i guess or just blend in ......

No, I agree that you can do whatever to your car thats what makes it cool but some people will still think that it is stupid.

Who the hell started the whole "whip" thing and what the hell is a whip anyways?.....God I hate MTV.

Hey, this guy could drive his car thru the middle of pennsylvania winters with no problem probably. Ive got an extra 66 coronet body and a 82 ramcharger 4x4 ,humm. water gets deep in texas sometimes.

Yep, it's his car and he can do what he wants with it except sell it to me. Craziest conglomeration I ever saw was a Pacer body with a 72 Torino front clip on a 3/4 ton Ford pickup frame. Believe it or not, it sorta grew on you and really wasn't as bad as it sounds. That's the beauty of this hobby, you can do what you want and it really doesn't matter what anybody else says.
