Anyone know a good Hemi engine builder. Was looking at Indy cylinder head create motor but have found some bad reviews and after talking to them found them to be rude.

Thanks

It continues to baffle me how any business that exhibits poor customer service, remains in operation. In my world, reputation is everything. Your only as good as your name! Treat people how you would like to be treated.
Cheers Chris.

Arrington, Inertia and Dave Weber all have a good rep over on LxForums

I have been installing inertia parts for about 7 years now and have only had 2 issues, and both were corrected as fast as possible. Inertia is my go to shop for anything Hemi. We had one of my customers 4 door rams at the track tonight and got a 12.5@107 in a 2009 truck running inertia heads and cam. (and many other parts typical headers, cold air intake built trans, blower ect) but it was a custom ground blower cam, and the truck would not be nearly as powerful without it. Keep in mind we are talking about a 6000 pound truck here.

I hear Dave has great stuff as well. I would not hesitate to install his parts, I just have not personally installed any of his stuff.

your talking about part installs but how about true machine work. are local machine shops capable of doing the necessary boring ,decking, truing, aligning balancing, ect. or is this a dark area. i have never been one to just throw parts on any engine in any condition just to say i have a cam. i have to know what my clearances and tolerences are. i like a good blue print. for what ever budget build. who are the capable builders in the southeast, northeast, midwest, and so on. this is the kind of knowledge we need to help everyone, at least imo

Its the machine work and blue printing is my concern. I used to work at one of the best machine shops in western Canada but they have never done anything like this. I am sure they are quite capable but are expensive. Plus they are very busy building 360/410 sprint car engines, Nascar Canada engines and old style big and small block stuff. I was there for 7 years and never seen a new Hemi or a LS engine. Thats why I was looking at Indy cylinder heads till I seen some bad reviews on yellow bullet forums. Has anyone actually bought a crate engine from any of these builders?

Any good machine shop should be able to do the Hemi, but going throughout inertia, he has machine drops all set up, and thru do the work right. And have all the correct tools for the job. I would have him ship you a machined block, and then stuff UT with your parts.

Arrington is the best with Blueprinted 3g hemi's you get a sheet with all the specs when you get an engine from them. That being Said I have seen Inertia's work, I have seen PWR's work and they are all top notch.
