because of a misunderstanding with the seller of my 6.1 he gave me 2 sets of the 6.1 front w/ pump. But I need that from a 5.7 because I have no idea how to route the belt on a 6.1 front end. I don't want to have such a serpentine, I don't want A/C and P/S. I want the triangle style with an ajustable generator. No other idea. Maybe you?

Does anybody here has a 5.7 cover w/ pump for spare? It is, like with all other parts for this swap, impossible to purchase here in Germany.

Thanks for any idea or offer which can help me.

somebody built this here if I remember right.
Unfortunately this results in the serpentine belt. And I need a new radiator or an additional waterneck on my old rad.

I will check if there is a way to mount an adjustable generator on the 6.1 cover. maybe with cuting and drilling....

So you have the car cover and you're looking for the truck cover? Or what?

The 6.1 and 5.7 lx covers are the same... The truck cover is different, and most guys don't run it because the car 5.7 and 6.1 intake manifold won't fit with it. But, I know you're running a carb, correct? So it would probably be easier for you.

I have a truck cover (no water pump) I'm not going to use, and I need a car cover. I have the alternator and p/s pump as well.

I also have the truck cover with water pump and all the front accessories if this is what's needed.

I'm also not afraid to ship to Germany as I've sent them before.

Take a couple of pics of what your looking for....

here's a publication by mopar. It looks like you might be able to delete the P/S and A/C on the truck cover and make it work.

oh, you are right. Truck cover.... sorry. But wow, didn't spend a thought about a swap.

Ok, I need the Alternator, cover, waterpump and the hoses. Has the alternator an internal regulator?
I offer the same. Cover, alternator, waterpump (complete).

This would be a 1 to 1 deal. No money, free shipping for both parties.

Is this agreeable?

is it possible to use this truck alternator on a different location? Lower and adjustable to tension the belt. Location approx where the original belt tensioner is located? Somebody did it here but I don't know what alternator he used for this....

If it doesn't work out let me know. I'm also willing to do a trade straight up. I'm looking to use the car cover and accessories on my build.

I have the front cover, alternator, power steering pump, tensioner, water pump and everything to assemble. I bought a truck motor cheap and I'm converting it over.

is this alternator from the pictures above the truck alternator?

As I said I need cover, maybe alternator and waterpump w/ hoses.

I'll go take a picture of everything I have. I'm not sure which alternator that is but it looks like a stock small block alternator.

Hi, many thanks for the offer to swap. I really appreciate it. But I found - can't belief it myself - the setup local. Just 10 mls away from me. A buddy is swapping for a customer of him a 5.7 into a jeep. And he had 2 of those sets. Iknew about this but wasn't aware of the 2nd set.
So this problem is fixed :) - but found a new problem today... :-(
