5.9 Magnum serpentine belt questions

Has anyone eliminated either the PS pump from their 5.9 Magnum but still used the serpentine belt? Im planning a 5.9 swap into my 49 Plymouth and intend to use a manual rack. Do you just get a shorter belt or do you have to put an idler pulley in place of the pump?

I'm fairly certain that the pulley placement, etc. is identical to the LA motors... so you may be able to just use those part numbers and leave the belt for the PS pump off.

Can anyone confirm this?

They make an a/c delete belt; your best bet is to take a measurement of what you need with an old belt, make a mark, cut it to length, take it to the parts store and cross reference something that is close.
