Just finished one with the TF heads, 10:1, our custom HR cam and a 750 carb. 12.5" of vacuum at idle, 506HP@ 5900 and 524TQ@ 4500rpm.

Brian is the best Mopar Builder that I know and I know
most of them!!
People travel across the country to take their engines to him
and I have never heard of anyone disappointed.

Rough durations specs on the cam Brian? I'm just curious what it took to achieve the 500hp mark with the trickflows.

Awesome build, Brian doing work with great results as usual, Thanks for sharing Brian.

Gee that is nearly excactly the same as my engine. 410 stroker,11 to 1 comp, 850 AVS 2 340 victor manifold , try why headers, cam is 238,242 485 lift with 1.6 rockers, so about 610 lift, on a 112 lobe separation. I don't know what it makes on an engine dyno but on a chassis dyno makes 425 RWHP and 550 ft lbs of torque. Car is a 5 speed manual with 3.91 diff ratio. If you put your foot into it in second gear at any revs it just wheelspins at 6500rpm and do not hit third too hard on a dusty road as it will brake into wheelspin as well. I imagine the driveline loss would be over 100hp so I think it is making 530 maybe 540 HP? Yes it also idles great at 900rpm and is very tame to drive on the road. Before the trick flow heads and making 385 RWHP it ran a 11.4 @ 120 mph so hoping next time to the strip it will run a very low eleven!

Nice job!
What is the engine cubic inch displacement, please?

I'm thinkjng the wide lsa was not necessarily for idle vacuum, that's accomplishable with narrower with a dual plane. IcL is advanced 4 or so

Very cool Brian!! Great “meat n potatoes” build!

I agree. He is an honest guy that works his tail off. My W5's were ported by him and I couldn't be happier.
