6.1 no p/steering no a/c pulley

I have noticed treads on 5.7 pulleys. I'm looking to see if anyone has a part # of maybe napa . of any pulley and mount for a 6.1 .im am not using power steering and no a/c.
 
Car 5.7 and 6.1 are the same, it's the truck 5.7 that is way different.
 
You can do without a pulley in the AC location entirely. You cannot do without a pulley in the PS location. Some guys take apart a PS pump and use it as an idler pulley. Not sure who else has done something in that place.

I may have to consider that .. but I have heard of these before ... Anyone have the mopar part # for the car 5.7 delete pulley ????

x2.... Also less expensive than the Bouchillion piece and much nicer.

Here is everything that I ordered for the front of mine. This covers the idlers, tensioner and bolts.

04627851AA is the grooved idler that is required for the PS delete. This will mount to 04593918AA.

BRACKET. Idler Pulley. 04593918AA $46.85

Got everything from www.factorychryslerparts.com, but the dealer would have everything as well.

There is another possible part number for the PS delete idler (4593985AA), but from what I can tell both are the same part.

Total was $181.63 with shipping and that included the tensioner.
 
That's a great option... the mopar PS delete part is what im after .. It says 5.7 ..
Im running 6.1 .. Are you running 6.1?

I'm running a 6.4, but it shouldn't matter. All of those pieces should be interchangeable.
 
I'm assuming you only need 1, 5, 6 and 7 to get the job done the other pieces would appear to be the same on all engines?
 
It all makes sense now, the tensioner and idler are the same across the board, the PS delete bracket and pully is used on the new models because they now run electric power steering. Good old mother Mopar to the rescue, they obviously couldn't think of a better way to do away with the power steering pump either.
 
if anyone knows what year these are for would help make parts easier to access .. as we all know a lot of parts guys need . year , make , model , blablaba .. someone else besides mopar has this I'll bet.

It's all on the factory parts website linked above, the penny just dropped regards the electric power steering setup on the new models.
 
Nice thanks to all . im going to assume it can be used on a 6.1 since no srt8 models with the 6.1 had electric p/steering ... wowowowo hoohohoho
