did you grind all the fins from the pan for a clean look?

The fins help disappate heat. I wouldn't do that.

Would the 5.7 truck pan work? Its prety plain and shaped differently...*should* bolt on.

the truck pan I'll bolt to the motor, and will allow you to drop the motor in the car. But you will have to pull the center link out. Been there done that. Tried a durango/jeep pan as well. It won't work. The 6.1 and 5.7 car pans will not work eather. You will need an after market pan to clear. Now this is all asuming you have the stock k member and seering. As I have tried it all trying to be cheap ad not wanting to buy the aftermarket pan. I ended up buying it anyway. Save yourself the headache and just get the aftermarket pan. Now when it comes to the alterkation ect for front ends I have no idea what you can use.because I did not go that way on my car

what's the aftermarket pan of choice? Do I need an oil pump snorkel too?

oops, saw it in an other thread, Milodon 31000 & main stud for the oil screen is 6506333aa. the corresponding nut is 6502756.
Right? That's all?
