/6 replacement starter

Is there a good replacement starter for a slant out there? Maybe something from a newer model? Mine is the original 72 starter just doesn't seem to have it anymore.

if yer gonna put a used one on, get the points contacts replaced first inside it, they go out regularly. Or just buy a rebuilt one from parts store...with a warranty as well

order one for a 94 Dakota with 3.9 or 5.2.....you may have to modify the dust shield to make it fit right

Yeah, I learned that one real quick like !!!

And you have a slant. You should see how tough it is changing the factory starter on a SB or BB. You must get the steering linkage in just the right position, get just the right socket extension, and wrestle the heavy beast out. The mini is so small and light, you might carry a spare in your trunk, and could swap it out in 5 min on the road.
