I am looking to do an engine swap to v8 and realize the k-member will need swapped to a v8 version or at least retrofitted to allow for relocation of motor mounts etc.
Been searching the interweb for Schumacher since they are the folks most mentioned for such a project, but i can't seem to locate a website for them. I
have searched the forums as well as the vendor section but come up empty.

Would someone provide the link to them please? Also, is it true there is a kit to use the existing S6 member? And I have read different opinions on rather the drive shaft would need changed or not?

Thanks in advance.

Here is a link to Schumacher: http://www.engine-swaps.com/

There is also a thread on here about a kit from Summit at a good price. I didn't read through it all, but it might be worthwhile finding it.

You'll probably need to change the driveshaft if you swap from 904 to 727 and/or change rear ends because of the length, slip spline and possibly rear end yoke.

Found it! http://www.forabodiesonly.com/mopar/showthread.php?t=156115&highlight=summit

...but as noted in the thread, it's for a '72 & older k-frame. Schumacher has the '73 & newer kits, but a lot more expensive.

I have a correct 340 K-Frame from a 70 for sale PM me
