Due to unforseen health issues, I am regretably selling my Lancer GT. I bought this car with the intention of restoring it and showing it off, BUTT, now it must go. I bought it from the original owner family and started to do a few things to it. The car had sat for 20 years after having the motor rebuilt and the owner passing away. It supposedly runs, but I have not got that far, I did dip the gas tank and clean all the fuel lines, rebuilt the carb, but need to re-install the gas tank and get a new sending unit. The car itself is beautiful having very minor rust in the right rear quarter and also the left front fender, other than that its very nice. I believe the car has been repainted at one time, retaining the original color. I have made my own tail light lenses as I could not find originals, also have purchased the trim for the fenders and doors, this has been straightened and is ready for buffing. I was also told by the previous owner that when he started the car the trans leaked, so I am pretty sure it will need to be re sealed. The car has the 170 6 cylinder and push button auto, car comes with the original wheels with great tires and also a set of Cragar SS mags and new tires mounted on them. I am wanting $1950 cash for the car and that is less than I have in it. Thanks.....oh yeah, the car is in Colorado Springs. Colo.
