My 18 year old daughter has expressed interest in early A’s.
We would like to find a 63-66 A-body that is driver ready, auto, LA or /6.
This will be her primary wheels so I stress reliability. Looking for a complete car and will allow some deficiencies like ripped seats, small dents, rough paint, etc. looking for a relatively rust free car. Definitely no rust on frame, drip rails, window channels, or floors. A/C is a plus. Basically, we are looking for a 7-9/10 condition.
She has $6000 saved up and dear old Dad will be helping her out with some extra.
Her favorite 63-66 is white ‘66Barracudas. Her least favorite are 4-doors but she thinks “some of the are cute”.
My daughter is very responsible, cautious, and safe driver. She does not desire a race car but she does need a car that can get out of its own way. This is my baby girl so above all the other things on the wish list is GOOD brakes! That’s a must for me.
