Ok so i have been reading all the threads on the voltage regulator problems on early dashes and i am pretty sure that i have the same problem. So where does this little bugger hide? I had my dash out and i didn't see anything on the back that looks like the little three pronged regulator i have seen on other threads. Can anyone help shed some light on this? This is the last thing i need to do for the out of province inspection and its driving me a bit crazy.

As a note this is a 63 Cdn model so it is a Dart/Valiant, not sure if that makes any difference.

Typical gauges have 2 contact posts. If your fuel gauge has 3 posts the mechanical regulator is inside that gauge.

Its got the three studs.....how about the temp guage? It has two posts.....would that be the actual sender that is pooched?

Thanks for the link to the RTE how too. So i guess i should check the ground on the tank and if that doesn't help do the regulator mod.

You have to get power from the rgulator to both the fuel gauge and the temp gauge before either will work.

Ok....so how do I do that? will I need to run a jumper wire? Also how quickly can you send me of your DeMon IVRs.....

Clicky the linky in my first post......................

I do not support "do it yourself" gauge service. My IVR is not available for that purpose. Sorry
