[FOR FREE] 64 & 65 Alternator parts

What I have:

Alt #1

1. Pulley side 1/2 case - 2095191, no date code, the word "Lester"

2. Diode side 1/2 case - 2098835, 45 64, stamped on assembly date location

3. Same diode side 1/2 case - 2095192 between two fins to the left of the left side GRD marking

4. Same diode side 1/2 case - 6, the word "Lester" to the right of the left side GRD marking

5. Same diode side 1/2 case - a symbol that looks like an airplane (like a small v inside a large V)

Alt #2

1. Pulley side 1/2 case - no markings

2. Diode side 1/2 case - 2098835, 7 65, stamped on assembly date location

3. Same diode side 1/2 case - 2095192 left of the left side GRD marking

4. Same diode side 1/2 case - casting date wheel 65 in center, 2 dots in between 12:00 and 1:00 marks

5. Same diode side 1/2 case - KCP and DP/CD symbols


Pulley #1

2095430, S, 2-15/16" dia, excellent condition

Pulley #2

No part number, 2-11/16" dia, heavily pitted

Both will need rebuilding and one has what looks like rust between the plates that separate the 1/2s.

I received these alternators free from another FABO member when I was looking for a single groove pulley of a particular size.


These alternators are free to anyone who can use them (you pay shipping). They are still assembled except for the pulleys. I will separate them and ship the parts you want if you can use them.

So that blows my thought that the 1/2 with lester and the v in a V was an aftermarket. Cool!

Any idea what the symbol represented?

That's the forward look emblem some one will need that more of a c body thing.
