64 dart trans in 70 duster

Is there any difference in trannys. I have a opportunity to buy a tranny out of a 64 dart. To put into my 70 duster. Is it the Same as a 70 tranny? Also. What kind of power are stock 4 speeds handling?

other than having a 4 bolt flange instead of a slip yoke ,and I believe the first gear ratio is lower on the early 4 speeds { 3.09 } they'll interchange :blob:

I swapped one in years ago. Used a later mainshaft and tailshaft housing and everything worked fine. The 3.09 first gear is great for launches
