Day off yesterday, 1/3 off sale, & 3 early A's listed on website, so I went to the Rancho Cordova lot. The "67 Valiant" turned out to be a B-body, but they do have a 64 Valiant 4 dr. Someone took good care of it, so maybe family inherited and tossed it. This post is for Sac people since not going back. Ask about parts and I might recall for a few days.

Most outside trim is inside and looks good. Sheet metal looks good. Most of the dash is taken. I took the wipers (variable speed?), and other rarer stuff I might need: climate boxes, gas pedal & links, factory radiator. What might interest some is that the engine looks original (225 w/ 3 core plugs) and seems in great condition, plus the air cleaner still has a pristine "Super 225" label. For fun, I turned it over by hand and had to fight compression and heard it hiss down ~5 sec. I didn't count every cylinder, but they all seem to be strong. The cable-shift tranny & ball & trunnion driveshaft is there, though someone grabbed the shift buttons. I was hoping to find elusive SBP disks (cheap, I'm not paying $700), but all were 9" drums.
