[WANTED] 64 valiant steering wheel

i would like a wood grain or leather steering wheel for 64 valiant, stock or aftermarket..

i think i put a 1988 new yorker steering on a 1965 dodge coronet, and i was wondering if most mopar interchange...?

"69 and earlier wheels should work for you. I doubt seriously that you were able to get an air bag wheel off an '88 model to work correctly on a '65 column. The splines might be the same, but, they're totally different diameters where they meet the column. Getting the horn and turn signal canceller to work would be the main problem I would think.

you are right, we used it on a 65 coronet 500 2dr ht drag car in 1999, ran pretty good with a 446 cu in 440 with a 3500 stall , the best we could get was 12.23 et , we didn't care we were only going straight.....and only had around $4000 in the car...still have the car, i love it.. not an altered wheelbase car....thanks...
