65 Barracuda auto trans question.

Im new to Mopar's, I recently bought a 65 Barracuda, The car factory as a Floor shift automatic but the motor & trans were gone, Does the floor shift linkage operate the trans by cables? and if so will the automatic from a 65 Dart be the same cable shift trans? Thanks in advance for your help. Randy

Yes that other 65 transmission should be cable shift also if it is the original 904 for the Dart. 66 is when they changed.
