'65 Barracuda Floor Shifter

Saw a '65 Dart, Gasser that had an injected 273 with 904 reverse body trans. It was shifted by a '65 Barracuda factory floor shifter that had never seen before. This a strict cable shifter or something like the Slap Stick Shifter?

Cable operated with a specific transmission in 65 Do you have a photo.

No. I thought that the racer was prepping for the next round and when I got back, he was gone. I would doubt that it was the old style 904. He had a time of 11.85 on the window and the car ran hard.

Probably just a aftermarket ratchet shifter. Here's a stock 65 shifter.

There have been members put a aftermarket Hurst in the early console. Here: 1965 Dart GT floor shifter

That's the shifter. It wasn't an Auto Stick or something similar.
