The bows won't work from a sedan to a hdtp.5 are needed on the hdtp and also they have more bow in them

I stripped out two 65' Cuda's at a salvage yard and it was unbeknownst to me these had an order, as I got to the last bow on the second car a guy walked up and says " did you keep track of the color order? If not your upholster is gonna love you"
DOH '''
Thanks for the info.

Thanks. I didn't keep track of the order either, or even note the bows had color marks. Anything that can be mixed up, will be.

I bought my car without a headliner or bows so I did it the hard way with my Dart...I just kept putting them in the slots in the car until they fit right then marked them....took a while.:violent1:

If and when I find more bow info I will add it to the list. None of the information is mine but I did like the info about sedans vs. hardtops. Sources are noted.

There is a small coloured spot on the bows. I removed mine and slid them in the new headliner the same way they came out of the old headliner and didn’t note the colours.

Are the hardtop bows longer than the sedan or do you know? I have a 2dr sedan and I have the front and rear bows but the middle ones were missing when I bought the car. Got a set from a hardtop thinking they would be the same. Are the 4 door hardtop bows the same at all? I might be able to get a set of those fairly easily local. Thanks in advance

For reference I have a 63 Dart 2 door sedan

Anyone figured out the lengths of the '65 Barracuda headliner bows yet?

cudamark and I got almost same measurements for length of bows going straight across (my figures are the second ones):

#1 47 3/4" & 48"
#2 48 5/8" & 48 5/8"
#3 48 3/4" & 48 3/4"
#4 49 1/2" & 49 3/8"
#5 49 1/4" & 48 1/2"*

these are by measuring inside the arc/curve:

#1 48 1/8" & 48 3/4"
#2 49 1/2" & 49 3/4"
#3 49 7/16" & 50"
#4 50 1/2" & 50 3/4"
#5 50 1/2" & 50 3/4"*

*For some reasons my #5 bow (rearmost) was really bent in more of an arc than the other four bows.
