65 Barracuda rear axle

Can anyone tell me the length of the rear axle on a 65 Barracuda? It's the original 7 1/4 rear but want to have a custom rear made? Thanks

If you used the specs for a Ford 9 inch 64-65 Shelby including spring pads it would fit. A little over priced maybe. I used a 8.8 Explorer with 2 short axles and aluminum driveshaft and custom parking brake cables for close to 1600 total in a 66 Barracuda. It has a 340 engine and 904.
