65 dart drive shaft mods

I have a 1965 dodge dart 2 door post car . I will be running a built 360, racing 904 automatic tranny,
8-3/4 abody rear with a 498 case 3:55 gears and hopefully a sure grip unit . my question is I heard that you can run a v8 drive shaft from out of a dodge short bed truck because it's stronger then the car drive shafts???? you just have to cut it to fit ???? I'm on a buget but want a good drive shaft to to hold up to the power and the shifting I'll be doing from time to time

i have had driveshafts cut and balanced, and ive had a new one made
the price difference is negligible

if it were me, id find a reputable drive line shop and have them build me a new one

I don't think you need a driveshaft that looks like a stove pipe while running a 360/904/3.55 combo. You won't bust a regular shaft.
