65 signet with vinyl top

I found a silver 65 Signet slant 6 auto with a black vinyl top today that was going to be taken to the crusher due to lots of rust issues. Car was setting outside under a tree with rear windows stuck open. Looks like kind of a rare car, but not sure if it is worth fixing up. YOur thoughts on the rarity?

Thanks for your responses. I do like the car, I have others to love, but I did bring it home to see what I can do for it. I picked it up for what the crusher would give them for it. There rare a few parts on it that I will use if I have to, but I want to take out the interior and see if I can fix the car myself before I use it for parts. Unfortunately, they took off all the emblems that make the car unique. All I have is the basic car with Valiant grille. It sure was a nice car at one time.

In most cases, you would come out ahead in time and money by buying a fairly rust-free SoCal or AZ car and shipping it to PA. I have seen some amazing rust repairs by our Canadian and European members, but why deal with a 2 yr project like that just to get to a sound foundation.
