Is there a code on these to show a factory 4 speed??

I think the 65 Valiant we spotted is a factory Black with Blue interior and a 273, 4 speed car.

On a 65 A Body the code for a 4 speed is found in the ABC section and is 31. The 3 is under the "D" and and the 1 is under the "E". You mentioned a 273 - code for that is also 31 where the 3 is under the "A" and the 1 is under the "B". Hope this helps.

D=3 four speed, D=5 automatic
