66 A-833 identity problem

I have an 833 that I found in my neighbors barn. It is dated 2-20-66. The output shaft is smaller dia. than mine.
I thought they only made one size output. It came with a splined yoke that accepts 7260 joints. Can anyone shed light on the application this may have been used in?

I have heard that some of the older 833 had the same spline as 904's and not 727's. I believe where you find these are in a-bodies that way the driveline with yoke would be the same being the cars would have had a 904 and the big cars had the 727 spline, sounds semi-logical.
