I found this pic on the web of what appears to be a 66 Dart. I was wondering if anyone knows whose car this might be or if there are any other pics that may show more of this car. Would really like to see a better side shot. It appears to have the trim molding removed which is what I am planning. Also after seeing this I am now thinking about painting mine in an all white. Hoping someone can help!

Thanks Rod

I took that photo at the NATS IN 2008. The owners name never has surfaced. I believe the car is a 170 model with the side trim removed to give it that plain - Jane look. I'll attach more photos.

Here you go. If you notice, the white car also has the trim removed between the tail lights. There's also a shot of a blue Canadian Valiant with model 270 trim.

Absolutely Love the look of that white Dart. If my 64 GT wouldn't have had so many trim holes to fill I would have went that direction.

I know what you mean about the trim holes. Im sure mine has about 25 per side. I am going to fill them with a fiber glass short hair bondo. I thought about welding them shut but I dont want that much heat put into the quarters. Also it will require less time on finishing and sanding going this way. After seeing this car I think I am going to go all white. This will also keep attention away from the car as I plan on using an antique tag.

Toolman, thanks for the extra pics. I dont think Ive ever run into a valiant from 1966. Its funny because my dad worked at a Dodge garage and when he started his own shop in 74 we worked on tons of dodge/plymouths but I dont remember the 66 valiant. Im surprised how close it is to the dart. I have both trims for the rear but think I am going to go with the GT trunk trim. Will have plenty of trim to sell at some point! lol
