Want to go from power to manual steering. What years will interchange ??? Is there a adaptor ??? Don't want to change the column. Thanks .................

there is a few things to change-- adapters are expensive-- do a search -- basically you will need a longer steering shaft-- to mate to the manual gear. I happen to have a manual shaft/column from a 1966 dart--- the wiring is no good-- yours for shipping costs. Lawrence

You could take your steering column apart and replace the shaft inside of it with the longer manual shaft. I have a few of those in the garage and have taken a few 63-66 colums apart in the past year to do just the opposite... manual to power.

Steering box interchange is '62-'72 A- and B-body.
Just some trivia, manual steering boxes originally installed in a 6-cylinder has some bronze bushings inside, whereas those built in an 8-cylinder used needle bearings. Don't know for how many years that was true.
