66 Gas Caps Vented or Non????

both the one one my 66 and in the parts bucket are non vented i hope that helps even out the census.. lol

I guess I'll trace the lines coming out of the tank to be sure.
If the caps non-vented, then the tank has to be somewhere...

According to the service manual, the cap appears to be Non-vented. There is a vent tube that runs from the top of the filler tube to just above the tank inlet. If you fill the tank too much you will get overflow through this tube. There is no need for a vented cap.
 
non vented cap. you can see the vent line if you look at the fill tube in the trunk. It's about the size of a brake line and follows the contour of the fill tube. Mike
