1960 Plymouth Fury Johan kit, used the Ertl pro-street chassis and Hemi 4-speed to build this wild ride, built it when I was 13 or 14 years old many years ago :D

Ok you no longer own the wagon that has to come over to Asa's house to stay . I Asked Asa thats what he said lol .

Keith,
NICE! I have one of the Jo-Hans '71 cudas too, the Pro Street, altho mine has the dual plug valve covers in the kit! What one is that you pictured here?

That wild *** white decal on the rear quarter panels is NICE most are black!

Beautiful work Keith! Love the detail, like the plug/battery wires, rad hoses, etc. The wheelie bars on the cop wagon ain't half bad either...:thumbrig:

Thanks for the nice replies....I built all these as a kid, the last kit I built was when I was 16 and that's over 20 year ago....everything I did was hand painted or spray can, no airbrush. Have lots more to post, including my last complete build and and unfinished rare 70 R/T Charger that was a kit my dad built in 1970 :glasses7:

I would love to build more someday cause I still have passion for it, I also collect Mopar kits, some new but mostly vintage original release kits and most are unbuilt, have about 200 of them. I also collect any diecast/toy/model/promo related items that are for a 1966 Barracuda and then usually give them to my dad cause he has the real car. I will get more pics up soon, thanks :glasses7:

Here is the last complete kit I finished...1969 Daytona 426 4-speed Pro-Street....finished it when I was 16 and it was entered in 1 model contest before it got busted up (I can post pic of the destruction too if anyone wants) the kit was fragile and after it got busted I was upset and pretty much quit building them...I also had my first car at this time which is my 1974 Satellite so by this time the life size models were way more fun.

The Daytona kit I was never really happy with, didn't like the paint, I deleted the window trim and should have left it, I lowered the front even more but still didn't like the stance....lots of bondo went into smoothing out the nose too

Here is the vintage 70 Charger R/T I never finished, may dad originally built this and I strippd it down, pulled the Hemi and dropped in a 440 Magnum and 4-speed. Got the bumper replated, body was painted and engine done but not much else done, interior is the way dad painted it back in 70 LOL

Maybe some day i'll finish it, I never painted the hood and even if I saved the old spray can I doubt the paint is good or will match.....:banghead:

I used to enter model contests and would win trophies, the best was the Hot Rod Magazine AMT model contest at the World of Wheels show, got that with my 71 Cuda, think it was for 1st place :glasses7:
