Here is the sure grip 8 3/4 rear end
The pinion tunes 2 3/4 to one at the axle Frank and it is 45 1/2'' outside to outside off the springs, I have had this rear end for about 7 years and came out of a 383 69 barracuda.
Can you tell me what gear is in it :-D
Everything is there and 2 1/2'' wide springs 6 on each side, and turns real easy and smooth .=P~

ok my guess is somewhere around 2.73 if ZI did it right...If I remember right you divide the 2 3/4 by one so it would be 2.75 divided by 1

If it's a SG center you can count the turns of the yoke and axle and be very close. If it's an open carrier turning the yoke is meaningless unless you hold one axle still.

Thanks Mike
That will work great for the Dart.
Frank
PS do you want to call me or me call you?
