Hello again to fellow FABO members, I thought I would post some of my other mopar models that I have built. Most of which are from going on 20 plus years now. The First one I'm showing is my 71 Hemi Cuda Pro Street. The car started out as the Jo hann 71 Sox and Martin Cuda. I then took a full quarter inch out of the middle section of an Amt 70 pro street Coronet and reshaped the back end of the frame to fit the E body shape. Engine is full detail including dual remote oil filters and malory ignition box as well as a custom Intake manifold that I made from a few kits. Added the round tube inner fender with coil over springs. Interior has Five point Harnesses and custom white face gauge faces. Painted in deep pearlescent purple with a white Hemi billboard and White cuda grille. There is also a complete fuel system running all the way from the back fuel cell to the carbs. Full disc brakes on all four corners with the plumbing to match, all done in metal braid line. Hope you all enjoy, I have others that I will post once I get the Pictures loaded.

He has some nice kits, I have seen them in person...his dad and brother also build killer stuff!

I actually told him about your Santa sleigh Hemi build thread.....I should send him the link!

Full engine detail on the Hemi. Has a custom exhaust with super trap mufflers. Painted sapphire blue metallic with a white strobe stripe. Built about 25 years ago when I was In my early teens.

The second one I will put up is my last 71 mopar I built just for fun as an good old weekend bracket racer drag car. It is the Amt newer release with a Amt 68 Hemi shoved into it, random decals from random decal sheets and some big old slicks.

This one is one of my favorites, It is also one of my first Mopar models that I built and the First one that I took to local contest's and got me into building to compete. It is a 64 Plymouth Richard Petty Jo-Hann kit that was converted to an old school street/strip bruiser. First car that I spray painted. Was built when I was about 7 so not a lot of detail on this one.

This one is a work in progress, A 1957 Chrysler 300 custom(traditional style). I shaved all of the chrome, added a new front roll pan. Converted to single headlights, frenched in front as rear Tail lights. Filled in the the sunk in license Plate on the trunk, made a custom rear rolled pan and added Lake Pipes on the side. Its at a stand still cause I'm in the process of making a new quad bucket seat interior with full length center console. All in tuck in roll pleat of course.

This one is going to be built up as an all green 383 hp powered 64 Dodge 330 sedan in early street race trim...aka the cheater slicks with mags on the rear. Going to make a custom cut out exhaust for it when done. I also have a model car garage Photo etch detail kit for it as well to finish it off with.

The last Model I have to show is my most current Mopar Build in progress. It is a Factory stock build on a 69 Hemi Coronet R/T. The majority of the model is Resin cast with the chassis and drive train from an Amt 69 GTX kit. The W23 road wheels are from the 69 barracuda kit detailed to look like the real ones. Its painted in Q5 bright turquoise metallic, but the pics don't show how the real color looks. Finished with a white r/t tail stripe. Attempted to replicate the unibody factory overspray look on the underside. The Hemi will be plumbed with all the lines when done.

great detail on the Coronet. do have any pics of how you modify any of the models? I was showing my grandson your pics and have him interested in building them other than stock.
He thought the 300 was really cool.

Thanks again, That is awesome that your grandson is interested in building models. Its a dying hobby so its nice to here that people are still getting into model car building. I wish I had pictures of how I modify my work but I guess I never document my builds in the great of detail. My thought on building modified is really that you have to consider the whole build and what it will all look like as a finished car in the end, other than that let your creativity go wild. I like to kit bash as they say, which means collect parts from other stock of models. Kind of like an auto parts store.
